Business Credit Readiness Checklist

Organize your business information, review your documents, and identify what needs attention before you apply for business credit.

How to use this worksheet

  1. Fill the Master Record first. Do not create listings or apply for credit until that page is locked.
  2. Work the phases in order. Skipping ahead is the most common reason applications fail.
  3. Check an item only when you have a document that proves it.
  4. Use the last page to decide: apply now, wait, or fix first.

The rule that matters most

Lenders, bureaus, banks, and directories compare name, address, phone, EIN, and ownership. If those five items do not match, the rest of this checklist will not help. Lock them once, then copy them everywhere.

This checklist is an organizational tool. Completing it does not guarantee approval, credit limits, or financing, and neither does purchasing a shelf company, using an aged domain, or creating directory listings. Lender and bureau requirements change.

It is general educational information, not legal, tax, accounting, or lending advice, and not a substitute for a lender’s current requirements. Confirm requirements with the lender and review legal or tax questions with a licensed professional.
